    456 students graduated from the JP in 2013, with 326 from Telecommunications Engineering with Management, and 130 from E-Commerce Engineering with Law. Of these, 117 (25.6%) achieved first class honours and 308 (67.4%) achieving second class honours. One student gained 100% in the final year project, being highly commended by both supervisor and oral panel. The student was awarded a prize by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). 2013 graduates continue to be recognised by worldwide elite universities. 376 graduates will attend postgraduate school, with 54 of them attending postgraduate school in China (48 of them getting the postgraduate recommendation, 6 of them via postgraduate school exam). 322 of them will go abroad for their postgraduate study. The fraction continuing to postgraduate study is 82.5% and the fraction studying abroad is 70.6%. JP students continue to stay ahead of other schools in BUPT in this respect. The postgraduate schools that JP graduates will attend include the top 20 research universities as listed by the Times, the top 25 graduate engineering colleges listed by United States US NEWS, the top three universities in Australia, the top three universities in Hong Kong and other famous Asia universities. Several of the graduates are going for PhD study directly, with 6 of them doing so at Queen Mary, University of London funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Graduates who choose to work are the preferred candidates by top Chinese enterprises, including China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Tencent, Samsung, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Datang Mobile, Hebei TV, Standard Chartered Bank, Industrial Bank, China Iron and Steel Research Group, Inaugural Machinery, Eastern Airlines.
