News >> Success for JP students on Juniper Course held in Beijing

October 07th, 2014

Following the initial success of the Juniper certification course on advanced network training in London, the same course was rolled out in Beijing to JP students. Around 70 undergraduate students took the course, getting involved with industry-standard hands-on experiments, and 68% have passed the exam and become JNCIA-Junos certified. The high pass rate and students’ performance thoroughly impressed the Juniper team.

Both phases of the project were led by Dr Vindya Wijeratne, Lecturer in Networks and JP Director of Teaching, who congratulated the students on their achievement. Dr Yue Chen, QMUL Director of the JP, also said: “This course provides a good opportunity for stretching our students, enhancing their learning experience and improving their employability.”
