Optimization for radio resource allocation in HetNets

    Heterogeneous networks (HetNets) provide flexible network architecture for accommodating conventional wireless traffic as well as the fast emerging mobile Internet and M2M traffic.
    Our research focuses on optimization for radio resource allocation in HetNets under such complex scenarios, including user association optimization, self-organising mobility load balancing and cooperative transmission optimization, in order to maximize system capacity, improve system energy efficiency and enhance quality of service (QoS) provision.
